Emily brings more than 20 years of medical experience with a background in orthopedics, sports medicine, and more than a decade in aesthetics. Her approach combines medical knowledge with a thoughtful eye for what will complement your features and goals. As the owner of Leora Place, Emily brings functional medicine and aesthetics together under one roof. She believes great aesthetic care starts with understanding the whole person, not just one concern.
Krista began her career in the medical field as a certified registered nurse anesthetist, gaining years of clinical experience that naturally transitioned into the world of aesthetics. Her background in anesthesia has equipped her with a deep understanding of safety, precision, and patient comfort — foundations that continue to guide her practice today. Over the years, she has trained extensively in aesthetic injections, skin resurfacing procedures, and medical-grade skin care, building a strong foundation of both knowledge and hands-on expertise.
She founded Beauty Sleep Aesthetics, which has served has the foundation for which Leora Place is built upon. Leora Place is thrilled that Krista is still connected to the team as we move forward into the next chapter.
Lisa's passion for the world of aesthetics began in 2001. After years of selling cosmetics and experimenting with new looks on her loved ones, she finally decided to pursue her passion and enrolled in Esthiology School at the Douglas J. Aveda Institute in East Lansing, MI.
After leaving teaching, Lisa worked for skilled doctors, opening a new medical spa and expanding her aesthetic education into lasers and corrective services. That's when she really fell in love with aesthetics. If you have a skin concern, she'll find a treatment that works for you.
Lisa was with Beauty Sleep Aesthetics from its early days and she’s thrilled to be a part of Leora Place as we expand our services beyond aesthetics.
Melissa is a nurse practitioner who combines science and art to help clients achieve their desired aesthetic goals. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, she is a master at her craft.
Her favorite part of working with clients is building relationships and developing specific plans for each patient.
